This season, on Martin Luther King's week-end, we're up for a little visit to Swiss resort Villars for a very special reason. The BCV organises its 12th 24 hours' race, and we want to be part of the show. Join us and participate in this skiing/snowboarding team race sponsored by Jacques Villeneuve and Craig Pollock. 24 hours skiing down the same slope (relaying with your team partners, of course!), that may sound a bit boring, but remember this is for fgood reasons since the money goes to charities. During the race, animation is guaranteed with concerts and entertainment.
No doubt that this special event will be the highlight of this 3-day week-end, but - whether you participate or not - you will also have the opportunity to discover the 5 interconnected areas covering more than 120km of runs, up from/to the glacier area of Les Diablerets at 3,000m. With challenging off-piste tracks for the freeriders. With fun park, snowpark, and half-pipe for the freestylers. And numerous mountain restaurants for the gourmets. Follow our Übungsleiter's programme to improve your skiing or snowboarding skills. And at lunch time, take a breath and a well-deserved fondue on the terrace of the Botta, at the very top of the glacier. When you feel you're done for the day, head for our luxurious 4* hotel Eurotel Victoria located in Villars, surely one of the best of the season. In addition to its very comfortable rooms and usual services, it has an indoor swimming pool to perfectly end your day. |
