We like to think the club is a social club for like-minded people – that enjoy living their lives to the full – so if you have interests or hear about an activity that you think some other member may like to know about, here is where you can find out about it.

Enjoy your 1st May holiday. Our next social will be 8th May – it will in fact be the last evening social at Waxy's for this season.
There is of course still the Anniversary Party to look forward to – see below. We are looking for a Club member with a quadcopter drone to take an aerial photo of all of us on the field at the 60th Party. Please contact us here if you would like to volunteer your drone’s services that evening!
There will also be three Summer Socials – June 12th, July 17th, and August 7th – venue(s) to be announced. The 2024-25 Opening Season AGM/BBQ will be on September 1st.

The ticket price is 75 EUR for members and former board members, and 95 EUR for guests. It includes sparkling wine, canopies, buffet, different kinds of beverages, and not to forget, dancing with DJ Jacek. Hope to see you there!
TRIPS SEASON 2024/25
Club Med ST. MORITZ 2024
(here's the description from last year): Next season’s ever popular trip to Club Med St. Moritz is already open!
The trip includes full board, drinks, a 4-day ski pass, and 3 days of lessons or guiding. For bookings, email scherer_tours@t-online.de and cc trips@fscev.org.
This time you have a choice of 2 dates:
11-15 December 2024: Earlybird price sharing a double 847€, single with shared facilities 757€.
18-22 December 2024: Earlybird price sharing a double 829€, single with shared facilities 749€.
The Earlybird price applies if you book and pay the deposit before 15th May.
This is a U-drive/ U-train trip.
The package includes: Full board and drinks.
4 day skipass. 3 day lessons (not for beginners or cross-country). Special cancellation terms apply.
You must pay a 300€ deposit at the time of booking.

There will be a hiking weekend trip on August 9th-11th based in Cochem on the Mosel, details to follow. Thanks to Claudia S. and Susanne S. for their work in setting this up.

The right slope awaits no matter what your ability level; deep-snow and mogul runs, carving hills and freerides, along with family runs, bring all the variety to your ski vacation you could possibly wish for.
During the current coronavirus pandemic the club will have to react appropriately to changes in regulations and conditions. Any member who signs up trips will be entitled to free cancellation if the destination is deemed to be in a risk area at the time of trip departure (unless you are otherwise informed).

For most this is the last ski trip of the season, and what a way to finish! We come to this stella resort also for a concert on the mountain. The Artiste will be the Austrian Rock Legend Andreas Gabalier.

Some FSCers take their winter sports more seriously than others do. Such dedicated people are know around Frankfurt (and other regions of the world) as "SKIBUMS".
You too can become a SKIBUM. It’s quite simple, albeit a tad pricey. Anyone who participates in FSC trips totalling a given number of days or more during the current season becomes a SKIBUM, receiving a specially designed t-shirt of recognition (arguably the most expensive ‘freebie’ in the world). It’s our little way of thanking dedicated FSC members for the time (and money) they invested in their favourite pastime.
