Kaprun lies at the foot of the legendary Kitzsteinhorn glacier, which is Austria’s oldest glacier ski resort. With the opening of the Gletscherjet 3 + 4 lifts last season, long waiting times are a thing of the past.
Beginners will feel at home on the many easy slopes and athletic skiers will find challenging spots on the “Black Mamba”. The Kitzsteinhorn is also well-known as a freeride hot spot! Whilst there, don’t forget to take the Gipfelbahn to the 3029m Panoramaterrasse to enjoy the spectacular views!
Our Hotel Gasthof Mitterreger is a short bus ride to the lifts! The hotel offers sauna amd steam room. For those who still have the energy, Kaprun also offers a good selection of lively après-ski and late-night bars.
During the current coronavirus pandemic the club will have to react appropriately to changes in regulations and conditions. Cancellation procedures are being looked at if the destination is deemed to be in a risk area at the time of trip departure.
